Welcome to Kingdom
Traditional Church is closed for Intimacy with God.
He who wins souls is wise. I am looking for fish.
18) And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. 19) And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. 20) And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.
A few things about fish; unlike mammals, fish are cold-blooded. This means that they do not maintain a constant internal body temperature; instead, environment greatly influences their body temperatures. Most fish have backbones, fins, breathe with gills, and have scales that cover their bodies.
Fish come in many different kinds, shapes, sizes, and colors. Some fish even look like flowers. Not all fish eat the same food but one thing for sure they all get hungry. A fish never wakes up thinking no one is going to feed him or her today. The fish belly gets hungry so he goes out and looks for food. While swimming, a fish will look straight ahead and may not see any food. However, he does not stop looking or stay in one spot.
If no food is in sight, the fish quickly turns and goes in a different direction. However, fish make pit stops where food is present. Fish investigate the smell, color and appearance of food. I wonder if fish understand biblical principles. Maybe they hear Fisherman talking about God's promises. In some supernatural realm, they seem to comprehend and faithfully pursue the objectivity of faith (Psalm 23:1). Regardless of what seem to consume, my obligation is to keep searching for fish to feed. Some fish may be homeless, lost and have strayed away from God’s chosen path, were mixed up with the wrong crowd, fish that never knew they were fish, and starving fish.
I am a peculiar Fisherman. I do not catch fish to eat or sell. My calling is to catch fish, help remove unnecessary scales and weights, if they have gone into uncharted waters help them get back on the right course, find out which ones are in darkness, bring them back into God's light, and prepare food that is tasteful and digestible. Some Fishermen specialize in catching specific fish such as Bass, Crappie, Catfish, Herring, Salmon, Cod, White Perch, etc. on the other hand, I go fishing for fish who desire a deeper walk and intimacy with God.
This brief summary is an analogy as it relates to men hungry for a deeper walk with Christ. Jesus used analogies and parables and he talked about sheep, goat, fish, swine, etc. as it refers to soul winning, salvation, and the Kingdom of God. Even though fish must live in water for their entire existence, their environment influences them. God created fish in an atmosphere of submergence (underneath) water. Fish are restricted to water to maintain life. However, fish do have created ability to believe in soaring above. Have you ever seen a fish leap out of water? My aim is to see the body of Christ leap in the spirit by the word of God. I accepted the call to follow Christ and left my former life behind. This is an invitation to all non-believers and believers to follow me as I follow Christ.
1 Corinthians 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
